About Us

Nexus Images is the brainchild of North West England based photographers Amanda and Mark Broughton.

Amanda has been a keen landscape photographer for 4 years now, and Mark for 3 years. They spend a large amount of time throughout the year chasing sunsets around the British Isles, but have more images of the North West coastline than anywhere else in the UK.

Sometimes you have an image in mind – you go to a location with a specific composition, sometimes you go, and scour the area for the right combination of elements, and if the conditions and light work with you, the results can be beautiful. The North west and North Wales have some of the finest sunsets we’ve seen with a lot of the beaches facing west means they are perfect for late evening strolls with camera and tripod taking in the scenery, however, there is a common theme that runs through a lot of Nexus Images library which is the sea, Lighthouses and boats, 3 elements which if you have walked the North West coastline, you will know and recognise well.
